Are you interested in working with me? Here’s how to get started.
Step 1. Schedule an intake appointment. You can do that right here by visiting my online portal.
Step 2. You will be asked to create a username and password, and complete a biographical information form before we meet, so set aside a few minutes to do this. Before we meet in person, I like to know a bit about you and what you’d like to get out of working with me. If you’ve chosen to include your email, watch your inbox for a confirmation from me.
Step 3. Hit “reply” to that email to confirm your intake appointment.
Step 4. At the scheduled time of your intake, we’ll meet! We’ll use the opportunity to make sure we’re the perfect fit before you commit long-term. If you are using insurance, make sure you check your card for the cost of your co-pay (it’s generally considered a “specialist” visit or “behavioral health” visit).
Step 5. Then we’ll get started! If you decide to work with me, I’ll tell you the exact steps for getting started and make initial suggestions. If you decide not to work with me or if we aren’t a perfect fit, I’m happy to share other resources to help you get what you need.

I currently accept the following insurances for people living in the Rhode Island area:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- United Healthcare
- Neighborhood Health Plan
Your co-pay will vary based on your exact insurance plan. If you have questions about your co-pay, please contact your insurance company. Some insurance companies charge therapy co-pays as a “specialist” visit, while others offer discounted co-pay rates for behavioral health providers.
If I do not take your insurance or you are interested in self-paying, my rate is $110/hour. Teleconferencing is available, but can not be billed through insurance at this time. If you would like to consider teleconferencing, please send me an e-mail.
